Just a remark, Macedonia is west of Bulgaria, so if Bansko was west of the border, it would be in Macedonia. Besides, it's 45 km from the border, which is not that close by European standards. Also, the term Balkans usually refers to the Balkan mountains. Bansko is situated in the Pirin mountains. Otherwise great photo.
