This was one operation I wish I could have seen more of. Back around this time, several locals congregated at Kettle Falls. I believe up to 3 trains a day made their way out of Kettle Falls to Spokane, which landed many opportunities to see this classic power on a daily basis. This kind of older power was the main stay of the day and a real treat to see as opposed to the common SD40-2's and modern GE's that were normally seen on the main lines. However, I'd be glad to see a C30-7, early Dash8 or SD40-2 nowadays. Thanks for sharing this timeless classic!
