Here's your daily dose of worthless trivia. The piece of iron hanging off the winch is called a "dingbat". The round on the bottom is where you put the coupler pin in place after removing the knuckle. The two oval shaped holes are where you hook the winch lines off two tractors to pull cars free from whatever has them stuck.
