The 462 is a really nice looking piece of junk! I'm an online I&M railfan (Petersburg, IL) and I had heard that the SD45's were headed off of the property. They were being used as extra power on the Kincaid coal trains coming off the UP at Pekin, IL. The I&M has a lot hills and the extra power was needed. Since January, however, the Kincaid trains have been powered by 3 UP AC's running in DPU mode (2 on the front, 1 on the rear). I liked the SD45's a lot, and the 462 was definately the best looking of the bunch, but they were notoriously unreliable. It's nice to see the units being tracked to their new home! I think that I'll go thru my own photo archives and add some shots of them back when they were still in service on the I&M.
