Too bad none of the EM-1's were saved from the scrappers.

I wish I could have seen one of these beasts in action. From some of the books and magazines I have read about the EM-1, it was reported that the EM-1's were triple headed from Youngstown, OH to Fairport Harbor, OH which was a route that was very close to where I grew up and through some very interesting areas which just begged to be photographed. Sadly, the rail line no longer exists.
