Do you mean to say that it has an original-type (645), working a prime mover, and it would run under its own power if you just dropped in a traction motor or two?!

If I recall, I do have a picture of this very same SD40 still in the CSX YN1 paint scheme in Chattanooga.

Doug, The info I was provided when I got the picture in Staunton, VA was it would be ready to roll under her own power once it had traction motors. There is nothing in those trucks but the axles so she needs all the required traction motors. BBR considered using it but declined for the reasons I cited in my Staunton picture (635341).
