Hi Felipe, Is this railcar operational now? Does it work on charter trains? And what about the wonderful Kitson-Meyer steam engine behind it? Is it undergoing restoration?

Hi Jean-Marc, yes, it is fully operational now and did a few test runs this month between Los Andes and Rio Blanco, however there's no precise date when it will start working on charter trains. In relation to the Kitson-Meyer engine, it is being restored, along with the remaining passenger cars and it's not far from running again, but all major efforts and fundings were put in finishing this railcar, so it will be at least a few years before it moves by itself.
