I'm surprised they look to be SW1500s; LV certainly didn't have any of those, so what they would be doing rusting away in a backwater facility (for Conrail) on the old LV main is puzzling.

This is known as Coxton yard, located near Pittston. The roundhouse suffered a major fire on April 17, 1983, and the event was announced at the ARHS convention that was being held in the Wilkes-Barre station.
Those switchers were most likely stashed there by the R&N as parts sources. They certainly do not date to the LV or Conrail.
