Indeed it is! That would be Santa Fe 3751, a 1927-built 4-8-4 Northern.

Certainly gives a feel for the location - all the better with AT&SF 3751 included (well, the majority of it, anyway).

Also of note, the area just below the fourth Amtrak car from engine is the site of the tragic crash of the Santa Fe RDC's back in the fifties I believe, then the brakes failed and they hit the fifteen mph curve at a high rate of speed, tipping on their sides resulting in many casualties.
