Great angle on that loco. Those really looked cool. To bad there not painted that way anymore. I remember traveling to Utah and Colorado as a teenager just to see these in action. As a railfan seeing these in early 70s era photos in and around Helper and Soldier Summit and a photo of the some Rio Grande F units pulling a train thru a place called the narrows with a little gas station on the side of this two lane highway with the train on its tracks just looked so inviting that I just had to make the trek. I never realized how far it was by the way I was traveling, not first class but it was a blast. I was amazed by those Rio Grande units in action pulling those heavy coal trains. Thanks Greg.
