Ain't she sweet? You are right: three beauties in this pic.

The young ladies would be welcome intrusion to any of my photographs. Indeed, everything in the shot looks quite presentable - the cowgirls, the horses, the Big Boy. Nice to be in Wyoming.

Thanks for the background information on the riders, adds context. Serendipity is great. Also the eastbound in the AM sure provided some nice light. I'd guess I would have passed on the area being too crowded and been sitting out in a field somewhere.

Really great shot that gives context to the whole 4014 event!

Pioneers on horseback and Steam Engines have helped bring us to where we are today. Great picture!

Pure PERFECTION, Kevin.

Wouldn't it be something to see the two sisters actually operating 4014 all by themselves? Do not ever tell me that a woman cannot do what a man can do. I have a female friend who is an locomotive engineer with CSX. She absolutely loves her job! There are two female truck drivers, Alice and Devonne, where I work. They can handle any semi with ease and are very dependable. Both have been on the job for over 15 years now. My friend with CSX and myself trade stories about being on the rails and road. I have learned a lot from her about railroading.
