As I have heard before, a "Big Boy" could pull a train five miles long all by itself. I don't think what is sitting beside it in the photo can make that claim. Just think, a "Big Boy" was designed without any computers being involved. Each part was drawn by a draftsman by pencil or ink. No Auto-CAD at all. Times are sure different. Some for the better, some for the worse. Can't wait to see the machine out on the rails one day when out West.
