Those go with locomotive cranes and are used for pile driving. IPS refurbishes American and Ohio locomotive cranes in Duluth for BNSF and UP.

Love this photo -- all the lines, the patterns!
A question: I don't see many ties between those rails. Look like a great majority are buried. Doesn't look like drainage is very good. Is that a problem?
