Very nice catch! The paint looks really good, too. And it was about 8 months since the last Milwaukee train exchanged cars here. I'm glad the SP used these all the way up to the UP merger, the only down side being their presence so late in the game was due to a poor financial bottom line. Then again, these old units probably survived the torch as more museums, scenic railroads and shortlines grabbed these up to power their trains. Thanks for sharing.
