It is the only tunnel, and it is a man made tunnel with an unlined bore and no masonry portals. At this point, the line passes through the Tosco (formerly Unocal) Refinery. Above the tunnel is the roadway connecting the main body of the refinery to the liquified petroleum gas plant.
