Interesting. I thought only the "straight" C30-7s had the headlight blank on the nose, but I guess some of the early C30-7As also had it.

xBNSFr the CR 6557 had a rebuild with a C30-7 plate nose after it was involved in a rear end collision with a TV train in 1985.

Interesting - so a "unique" C30-7A then. I have a shot of the same unit, guess they're "collector's items."
