Those tracks have changed since this was taken. I have one of these fine locos in "HO". Always loved the slanting fans and their sound.

3599 was one of the original TM demonstrator units: FM TM-2. It became Wabash #551, then 599 before acquisition by N&W. Later Wabash TMs like the ones trailing had lowered end platforms to better mate with units of other manufacturers.
