Ian, Another fine photo that was great to see. I grew up near Brownville Junction Maine where the CP line through Maine had a big yard and their mechanical operations in Maine. It was also nice to go up there to watch trains. This locomotive was also my favorite. Thanks for the post.

Trivia: 8901 once had a full-width short hood due to having two steam generators. Action photos in that configuration seem to be rare to nonexistent.
