CNW 213, 211, and 201 (all ex-CGW) were among the last ten C&NW F cab units in service.
C&NW rebuilt twenty ex-CGW freight F's in 1974 at the ex-CGW shop at Oelwein, IA. These ten cab units (F3/F5's 201, 202, 205, 208, 210-213, 215, FP7 217) and ten booster units (F3B/F5B/F7B's 304-309, 313, 315, 317, 318) remained in service into 1980-1981.
