I don't follow either. It'll be nice to see this power get new life through Metra, as opposed to falling to the scrappers torch

It is sad to see these locomotives leave Amtrak and their current paint schemes. Although, I do agree with you that it is good that they won't be scrapped and will be in service with Metra.
