Nice! I shot that unit back in the 80s when it passed through here coming off it's time on the CSS. How'd I miss it was still so close?

It was sold to the Indiana & Ohio in the late 1980's and worked as their number 55 until 1996, spending much of that time pulling the I&O Scenic Railway passenger train between Lebanon and Mason. When the I&O passenger operations were spun off when RailTex bought the I&O, 55 went with them, wearing the colors and carrying the roadnames what is today the Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad and still wearing number 55. In August and September of this year, a group of employees and volunteers repainted her into her as-delivered C&O dress and number.
