Interesting photo and information Jorge. I like the aspect and the subject! I do lament, however, the fact that the "rail/trail" folks, or "movement", has even infected the inner city of New York. What next? A large section of the Chicago El? Although it may be a nice "addition" to the city, it's too bad that the NYCT Railroad people couldn't have found some railroad use for this old line/spur!

This still makes a great park within New York, and although thee is no rail traffic, it is good that it survived in its new form. I have visited the High Line a couple of times on visits to this great city from my home in Scotland a few times and it never fails to impress.
