This is a test of the first unit of the new 3-voltage Z31500 sub-series of the Alstom Regiolis trains, able to run under the Swiss 15KV 16.2/3 Hz Swiss catenary and the two French catenary systems (1.5KV DC and 25KV 50Hz). Seventeen Z31500 units have been ordered for service on the cross-border “Leman Express” in the Geneva region.
