Around here it wouldn't just support Fire departments it would probably give them work to do, "National Weather Service, Kansas City, Missouri, Thursday, August 09, 2018, 7:43 AM, Drought Information Statement. Extreme Drought Conditions Continue To Spread Across Area. Missouri - Numerous burn bans are in effect across northern Missouri. A number of local municipalities have also instituted water
restrictions. The state’s drought assessment committee has also be activated by the Governor. Please check with your local municipality for any restrictions."
