This area is near the intersection of Interstate 5 and Interstate 405. As a truck driver, I have dropped off and picked many, many container trailers at the lot near the railroad yard. There is always a lot of train action going on in the yard. Locomotives and railcars are moving in both directions constantly. If you drive Greeley Avenue that parallels the tracks you can get an excellent elevated view of the yard. Parking somewhere along Greeley is a bit difficult but if you find a spot, any railfan would be quite happy.
