I am not quite sure that this unit has ever been part of the Conrail fleet. But I am sure that it was painted back from NS black into the blue Conrail livery with Conrail logo in honour of Conrail, because Henry Posner III, a major shareholder of the FCCA (Ferrocarril Central Andino) is a former Conrail employee and a Conrail fan. Together with his good friend Juan de Dios Olaechea, General Manager of the FCCA, they can do as they wish in painting the railroad units. Seems that the unit has suffered a bit at the front end.
