Nice job, John! You managed to capture the locomotive - and, the passenger cars... along with a PRR signal bridge all the while, finding a way to crop out the otherwise overcast sky. Impressive!

Several photographers have posted photos of this UP Officers's Special east of Chicago here on this site. Is this the first indication of Norfolk & Southern's merger into Union Pacific in the near future? Union Pacific would thereby become a true transcontinental between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean via Chicago and St. Louis.
