Sweet shot, John! Glad to see it rise in views to make the front page - and, no doubt, beyond! That's one good looking train, too - a nice matched set so impressive, nostalgic power on the point is optional, though it's great to know it's available and on the roster.

Ron Thomas, strictly a guess here, but I've read that the heritage shop in Cheyenne is so busy with the Big Boy that they are limiting the other units activities. Probably a lot simpler to use units from the regular fleet instead of sending out the E's.
And I fully agree with everyone else, incredible shot!
