Holy hell what a consist!

What were they hauling back there ? Does not look like the ill-fated RailExpress mail cars which were part of Amtrak's operations in earlier years.....Almost looks like a short freight manifest train hauled by 9276.....which simply coupled in front of the Amtrak consist and back the whole lot onto its freight.....Even with a couple of the P42DCs out of order, this ought to be easy to handle....Great picture.Thanks

The rear part of the train is made up of all-Amtrak equipment composed of express cars, boxcars and two roadrailers.
