The Frecciarossa 1000 is the most modern train in the Trenitalia fleet. Comfortable, safe and environmentally friendly, it is built to travel on all the European AV networks. It can reach the maximum speed of 400Km / h thanks to the 16 powerful engines distributed on all the carriages that make the Frecciarossa 1000 a train able to make the most of the adherence to the tracks. The Frecciarossa 1000 connects the cities of Turin, Milan, Reggio Emilia AV, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples and Salerno, also reaching Potenza and Taranto. Some Frecciarossa 1000 also connect Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Verona, Brescia, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples and Salerno. Some Frecciarossa 1000 circulate in double composition, trains composed of 2 ETR 1000 joined together, even if not communicating, forming a single convoy of 400 meters for a total of 16 carriages and more than 900 seats available. The double composition Frecciarossa 1000 maintains a speed of 300 km / h, guaranteeing the same travel times as single-station trains. The numbering of carriages is alpha-numeric. The two combined trains are identified with the letter "A" and "B": the carriages of the train "A" have the numbers 1A, 2A ... 8A; the train carriages "B" numbering 1B, 2B ... 8B. The letter of the carriage booked is shown on the ticket and, to allow a correct identification of the correct train on which to climb, is displayed on the monitors present along the departure track and on board the train. The 4 levels of service are easily identifiable both outside and inside the train, with the specific pictogram placed in the upper part of all the entrance doors. The interior design of the Frecciarossa 1000 is taken care of down to the smallest details to combine elegance, maximum travel comfort and has ample corridors, ergonomic seats, acoustic soundproofing, LED lighting, almost no vibrations. All levels of service include bathrooms equipped with a changing table. The carriages are characterized by different colors depending on the type of environment: Coach 1: Executive (dominant color - brown) Carriage 2: Business (dominant color - blue) Carriage 3: Business + BistrĂ² Carriage 4: Premium (dominant color - red) Coaches 5-6-7-8: Standard (dominant color - orange)
