Very nice shot! The description really adds to the historical significance of the image. The UP wings seem to be flying through the cut!

Looks like a rockslide waiting to happen! The steep walls of the cut may be stable, but they certainly don't look stable.

Great shot. Never heard of it before and I lived in the area. Kinda reminds me of the steeps walls of that canal in Greece.

Wild location and nice timing with the light. I agree with others - hard to believe just how long ago this cut was made and that it still remains - in tact, today.
