O my goodness ! I feel 49 years younger and 49 pounds lighter when I seed this picture. What a look back into a different era. A railroad thats long gone that was very much admired esp when it ran through your town. I dont think this unit is on home rails but it sure looks great with Sturtevant and all the trimmings of the train station behind it. As the train leaves the station a couple of toots an a whisp of steam emitting from that GM&O this beauty is ready to get it into gear and disappear with the smell of steam vapor that has that old train smell from the steam heated passenger cars. Ah yes. Wonder what a apt. rented out for back then at that place on the right ? Probably 70 $ a month n two meals a day make it a 100$ even. Thx.
