Can't stop drooling over this one - what a great catch at a great location! I believe, though I may be wrong, that the spur is long gone.

A vivid image. The vantage point prompts personal memories as used to spend hours here when first allowed to drive the family car ... there was a parking lot adjacent to the MU siding in the foreground and Kenny's restaurant nearby had great cheeseburgers. So used to watch the nightly fleet of freight traffic that rolled through here in PRR days behind electrics. I believe Bryn Mawr tower was only to last for a couple more years before a fire, although it had been closed on weekends and at night (third trick) since the mid-60s. The Conrail train was about as close to a real railroad as was evidenced along this line following the removal of freight business.

Back drooling, some more... Looks like, indeed, the spur is long gone though the tower still stands but has since been replaced by a remote interlock. in part due to a 1994 fire at the still standing tower. Classic!
