Thanks, David. Bridgeport was a great spot back then. Passing track just west of elevator, and UP branch from Salina curving in from the north and running alongside MP for several miles.

You can still see some bits of the grade between there and Lindsborg. Would have been a good place to watch westbounds in the afternoon.

That is a great shot. I can remember when the 6000 series started showing up, pretty "Cadillac" compared to the non-dynamic brake units that MP ran, and with a gyrolight no less...
