So, after presumably being 'dormant' for 8+ years, is eastern coal beginning to make a comeback? And if so, is it being used domestically or being shipped overseas - anyone know?

Timothy, once again, your drone work is superb! Jeff - I'd say a combination of both of those.

Most of the coal loads from the South Fork Secondary leave South Fork, PA under the symbol 650, which terminates in Baltimore (the empty, 651, is a Baltimore - Conemaugh (Johnstown) run). The end destination implies export in this case.

I wouldn't bank on it being a long term comeback, personally. China's steel industry is booming a the moment and is driving demand up, but the market may change.

I'm hoping it changes for a comeback. Thanks for the response.
