Its a sad state of affairs when $300 Million of TAXPAYERS money had to be spent on a Walmart for 1000 people that could have been built much cheaper and by WALMART alone some where else. Here in Rock Island,Il.TAXPAYERS spent ONE MILLION just on the purchase of land and surveys and then WALMART backed away and did not even build......probably not enough of the TAXPAYERS money in it for them.These deals were all under the Obama Administration!

Why can't we keep politics out of this site? Trains.....not editorials. BTW...being from Virginia I can tell you that this project began long before Obama.
