Not as rare as you might think. A train only needs to be a little over 7,000 feet in length in order to be in both tunnels at once. It happens more often than not these days if you ask me.

What is Tunnel No. 4? ... No longer exists?. I went through that place and I thought I saw the remains of an old tunnel.

Tunnel 4 was destroyed in an earthquake I believe.
