The story of this engine is really curious, is unique and is diferent from the other head of the branch as it was fatally damaged in Torreblanca accident when it used to pull Euromed service from Barcelona to Alacant.
Some years after, the entire branch changed its track width from Spaniard track width to europena standard track with in order to be able to run in Spanish high speed line.
