1501 COULD be the luckiest ALCO RSD in the world, being nicely restored and carefully preserved in this museum. The great majority of them, at least in the US, were worked into the ground, then cut up for scrap. The exception being the Adirondack unit on display in Utica, NY. Shame on us for not saving a few more.
