A very special case of Downsizing, the T0 as they were called were planned for light trains on flat lines. Only 20 metric tons, half of it on the driving axle. Built from 1880 until 1883 this one lasted until 1922, therefore they must have been succesful.

First steam engine which I saw with such big front wheels but if you consider the year it was build it is understandable. Like the back and white picture!
