A beautiful locomotive, I really would like to take a trip to England to see this museum.

Plan to spend a full day or two to see everything there. Great photo, Daniel.

Nice photo. Ironically, there is a group that wants to build a modern PRR T1 steam locomotive (4-4-4-4). Once the locomotive is built, one of their goals is to break the steam locomotive speed record. Estimated completion of the steam locomotive is 2030. More information can be found at the website: www.prrt1steamlocomotivetrust.org/

Jeff, I hope this project will become really one day. It would be nice to see another steam locomotive break the speed world record again. Good luck to them.

Jeff, there have been a few times that the T1 Duplex (4-4-4-4) has unofficially gone 130 mph in Ohio & Indiana on long stretches of flat land. I believe that is the reason that there is so much interest in the T1 "going like crazy".
