Wonderful photo Steve - considering I was only 11 months old at the time of this photo - I would have my first birthday just 25 days later from the date of this photo. Makes me melancholy that I wasn't born 2-1/2 decades earlier.

Agree completely. Wonderful photo and memory jogger. I recently rode the Conway Scenic RR in North Conway, New Hampshire. A beautiful Boston & Maine F-unit led our train. Before the ride commenced I took a few minutes to admire the engine. She was beautiful and the nostalgic feelings were so strong I wanted to give her a hug :-)
