Nice shot, but just an FYI, GECX 2012 is a Tier 3 locomotive, not a Tier 4.

I think he means the lead unit is pulling 3 tier 4 units.

More likely the other way around - the Tier 4 units were probably pulling the Tier 3 units which were using dynos to provide a load for the new units.
