Cool shot. Crazy how the railroad was left somewhat intact all these years. Famous line that sits and rots away with each passing year.

If the railroad doesn't want to use it, why not make it into a road tunnel.

I expect they are keeping this line in-tact in case the active main line becomes impassable from a washout or snow bound.

Jon it would take at least 6 months to a year to get this line going again.

Would be wonderful to turn it into a shared pedestrian/cycle trail.
