What a beautiful locomotive. It reminds me of a picture in a book I had during my early childhood. What a shame that the Rock Island has the distinction of being the largest American railroad to abandon operations.

I'm so thrilled they saved #630. It was the last operating E6 and worked into the '80s in daily service. Well done! And lovely shot too.
