Nice shot of a GN SD7 at the Allouez Ore Yard. Notice that the car right behind the engine is a NP ore car, easy to spot from the roller bearing trucks. NP cars were common at Allouez because of certain blends of ore requested by the steel companies. Missabe ore cars were common too. The NP cars were the first to be used in taconite service on the BN because they already had roller bearing trucks. The 564 became BN 6014, mostly assigned to Superior on the GN and BN.
