IF you wondering WHY the old shop buildings and completely round roundhouse are in such excellent condition, I BELIEVE they are now owned by the Smithsonian.

This is one of the better Amtrak photos I've seen on RP in a long time. The lighting is great, composition works very well to framing the train and historic buildings, and the human element ties it all together.
