Neat shot, if you look on google maps that locomotive tender was still there in 2013.

Wonder if it's still there and in one piece. Bet the 261 group would not mind having that for an auxiliary tender, looks like a Northern tender.

I did a little research on the tender and was able to find out its history. It was the tender to a Milwaukee Road S-2 class northern and was provided to the town by the Milwaukee Road in 1980 right before the end of operations. It's original purpose was to store water since no potable water exists at the townsite, but this was short lived after a water system was installed in 1984. Since then it's just been sitting there and is still there as of 2017.
