Hey, Chris! I made another delivery in Portland a couple off weeks ago and was headed East on I-84 about a mile or so west of Mosier where the cliffs and the UP tracks are very close to the Interstate when I noticed a friendly young couple hitching a ride on a eastbound train tucked on a covered hopper. I thought, even though what they were doing was illegal as far as UP was concerned, what a way to see the country and the Gorge! I've been driving a truck since 1973 and I absolutely cannot get enough of seeing the scenery along I-84. It sure isn't anything like it in East Tennessee where I reside. By the way, the little post office at Bridal Veil is something else, too!!!
