This is a train which I was fortunate enough to ride on a number of occasions. The second car in this consist, one of D&H's Diner-Lounges served up its own memories as the small D&H crew served an EXCELLENT, freshly-cooked breakfast southbound and luncheon northbound, using REAL CHINA specifically created for this train and marked with both the Seal of the Sate of NY and the D&H logos. Those were the days. In many ways,this train had the same "feeling" ( if NOT the scenery) of the Rio Grande Zephyr Both were simply TOO GOOD to last.
